I love photographing weddings at venues that I’ve never been to, but there is also something really fun about seeing the different ways that couples can make the same venue look completely unique. I was lucky enough to photograph two weddings at Skokie Country Club last year—First for Cassie & Jay’s outdoor ceremony last summer, and then again in October for Elizabeth and Dan’s amazing celebration. Golf course weddings are some of my favorites because of all the greenery, especially since there is no shortage of beautiful backdrops! And it doesn’t get much better than a gorgeous fall wedding, complete with colorful leaves and a crisp breeze. Throw in a hilarious and fun couple (I don’t think I’ve ever seen a bride laugh as much as Elizabeth did!), and you have yourself a perfect day!
