Hailey & Ben

I was friends with Hailey in high school, and I am so happy that we had a chance to reconnect last year when she was a bridesmaid in another Arizona wedding that I photographed. She is just as sweet and bubbly as she was back then, and is always fun to be around. So obviously I was really excited when she asked me to photograph their wedding… Knowing her creative eye and great attention to detail, I had a feeling that her wedding day would be just as colorful and beautiful as she is!

That said, I don’t think anybody hopes for rain on their wedding day. But to be honest, rain can be so romantic and adds character to such a special experience… and I’m glad that Hailey and Ben agreed with my perspective. Because they TOTALLY embraced the rain and weren’t going to let the weather prevent them from enjoying every single moment. Everyone’s excitement and easygoing attitude made this rainy Saturday in February an incredibly sunny day. The Clayton on the Park was the perfect venue, the colorful Saguaro Scottsdale hotel provided the perfect photo backdrop, and all of the vibrant florals and decor brought some seriously bright vibes to the entire experience… There was nothing dreary about it!

And don’t even get me started on their puppy… Cuteness overload.
