Melissa + Mike

I don’t even know where to begin with Melissa and Mike’s wedding… These two are so obviously head over heels in love and it shows in every single photo. Not only are they beautiful together, but they are such an adventurous pair. They moved to London exactly one week after their wedding, but somehow managed to also go on a Mexican honeymoon the week in between… What?! Seriously, they are so much fun. And of course I have to mention that Salvage One is such a unique venue—It was the perfect setting for these two to tie the knot! While I loved every part of the day, I would have to say that my favorite moment was their incredibly romantic First Look on the rooftop at the Ambassador Hotel. I asked Melissa what her favorite part of their wedding was, and she agreed:

“My favorite part of the wedding by far was our first look. I was anxious over every detail surrounding our day but once I saw Michael, all my nerves washed away. It was like nothing else mattered. I was overcome with excitement to see him and to see his reaction when he first saw me. The realization that this handsome man was going to be my husband forever was enough to put me at ease and to put the entire day into perspective. Runner-up favorites were the entire reception and stopping at Federales to do the ice tequila shot (thank you to Caitlin since it was her idea for us). It is hard to pick out specific moments and details because the day was so incredible. Michael and I were able to relax together and enjoy everyone important in our lives dancing, laughing, and celebrating our future. After we moved to London we were even more thrilled to have worked with Caitlin because the pictures were brilliant. We constantly look through the photos to remember the day and feel close to our family and friends. It is such a hard feeling to describe but the photos completely captured the love and happiness that we felt all day!”
