Happy Thursday, everyone! It feels good to be back on the blog… I’ll admit that I’ve been slacking a bit on posting lately. I got married in July and then dove right into the heart of wedding photography season… But not before an absolutely incredible honeymoon in Italy! Maybe I’ll make a post about our trip  (and my love for landscape photography) when I get some free time to edit the thousands of photos that I took. 🙂

Anyways, I promise to get back into posting more frequently! And what better way to kick it off than with a beautiful summer engagement session in Lincoln Park?!

Martha and Paul’s engagement session was one of those times where we hadn’t even finished taking photos and I couldn’t wait to get home and go through all of them on my computer. Not only is summer in Chicago an incredible time for pictures, but when you throw in a really fun and adorable couple at golden hour—PERFECTION! I had such a blast with Martha and Paul as we made our way through Lincoln Park… One of the best things about this spot is that you can make it look like you are out in the middle of the country, even though the skyline is just behind the trees. These two were up for anything and their energy is contagious… It truly shows in their photos, so I had to share a few (okay, a lot) with you all to spread the love! Enjoy!
