Happy Holidays! I cannot believe how quickly 2017 has come and gone, and I feel so lucky to have had such a fantastic year—Filled to the brim with the most amazing couples, lots of love, hard work, and wonderful wedding stories. I cannot thank all of my clients, family members, and friends enough for supporting me on this crazy photography journey. I have loved every minute of it and am excited to see what 2018 brings.
I am so far behind on my blogging and have a lot of beautiful fall weddings and engagement sessions to share with you after the New Year. But in the meantime, I didn’t think I could pass up the opportunity to post this beautiful winter session from mid-December. Lauren and Joe were moving to California the week after we took these, so they wanted to make sure that we incorporated a Chicago feel into their photos. We had Olive Park all to ourselves (so rare!) before heading over to one of their favorite Chicago landmarks, the Wrigley Building, for some holiday photos. Lauren’s red dress was STUNNING and so perfect for the festive vibes they were going for, especially with the beautiful tree and decor as a backdrop. I loved everything about this session and it got me so excited for Christmas—Lauren and Joe’s photos show how truly romantic Chicago can be in the winter and their holiday cheer was contagious. So I thought I’d share it with you all!
I hope you enjoy this holiday season and have a wonderful time celebrating with family and loved ones. See you all in 2018!
